The final deadline for the 2013 Full 5-Year Right to Know (RTK) survey is nearly here. All 2013 surveys must be entered online and submitted electronically by the extended deadline of February 15, 2015.

It’s That (Budget) Time of Year!
Schools all over New Jersey are busy preparing their budgets for the 2013-2014 school year. For Facility Managers this means (among many other things) reviewing your compliance and training programs to make sure they are up-to-date and in compliance with the myriad of mandated environmental health and safety regulations set forth by state and federal agencies.
GHS is Coming!
The Globally Harmonized System (GHS) has already been incorporated into OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (HCS) and is expected to be adopted by NJ-PEOSH in the near future. Since NJ-PEOSH receives OSHA funding, the adoption will be mandatory. When that happens, GHS will begin impacting all public employers (including school districts) throughout the state.
