Water Testing Deadline Approaching Fast

July 13, 2017.  That date is the deadline for compliance with the New Jersey Department of Education (NJDOE) regulations requiring testing of drinking water for lead in all New Jersey schools.  Testing and program implementation must be in strict compliance with the Lead in Drinking Water (LDW) guidelines from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection (NJDEP).

GSE’s team of experts is still available to help.  Whether it is preparation of the required QAPP, Plumbing Profile, Drinking Water Outlet Inventory and Sampling Plan, or just sampling and analysis. Many districts are still struggling to meet the deadline.  

Of course having to sample when the buildings are completely unoccupied makes scheduling tricky, so don’t wait until the last minute.  While it’s not too late to complete your LDW program, time is ticking…
